Career
Ariza Choudhuri is a barrister-at-law with a specialty in corporate legal practice in Bangladesh. She attended law school in London and later trained and qualified at the Bar of England and Wales. With 4 years PQE, she has worked for some of the leading law firms in the country which exposed her to various practice areas including corporate litigation, company and commercial law matters. She picked up a specialty in corporate legal and transactional practice in due course and advised on matters ranging from power and infrastructure, debt securities, bonds to digital currency and international factoring.
She is part of the corporate and commercial practice at Mahbub & Company and applies her experience to lead M&A deals, particularly matters with complex cross-border and foreign exchange investment issues. Among the firm’s notable clientele, she deals with a range of multinational corporations and major conglomerates to provide key advice in venture capital funding and start-up investments. Having acquired hands-on experience at an immigration and human rights set in the UK, she is able to effectively advise on the firm’s immigration matters.
She is also an alternate dispute resolution aficionado, a certified negotiator and an accredited mediator (civil and commercial). She works with international ADR institutions and serves as a case drafter and an expert in jury panels across ICC compliant competitions taking place globally.
